Maurizio Di Salvo is a dual-qualified Italian lawyer and
chartered accountant (Dottore Commercialista) based in Milan, admitted to
practice before the Italian Supreme Court (Corte di Cassazione), the Council of
State, and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
He holds an LLM in International Taxation from the Vienna
University of Economics and Business (WU Wien) and a law degree from the
University of Rome "La Sapienza," complemented by a postgraduate
degree in Economics and Management (summa cum laude).
Maurizio is the founding partner of a Milan-based firm
focused on international tax, wealth planning, and cross-border structuring for
high-net-worth individuals and family groups. His practice centres on trusts,
foundations, holding structures, and succession planning, with particular
expertise in the Italian tax treatment of these vehicles.
He previously served as European Coordinator of a Private
Client Services line at a major international tax and legal network, and held
senior tax roles at leading professional firms in Milan.
Maurizio is Secretary of the Wealth Planning Commission and
member of the International Tax Commission at the Milan Institute of Chartered
Accountants (ODCEC Milano). He is a longstanding member of STEP (Society of
Trust and Estate Practitioners) and IFA (International Fiscal Association).
He is an active author and speaker on trust, estate, and
international tax matters, with contributions published in the Trust
Quarterly Review, STEP Journal, Sole 24 Ore – Modulo Wealth
Planning, Novità Fiscali (SUPSI), and Il Fisco.
He has lectured extensively at postgraduate tax programmes
in Italy, Switzerland, and in Europe.
